How the Gamblers Pick the Big 12
Here's how the gamblers look at the Big 12.
1. Texas 2. Okalhoma 3. Nebraska 4. Kansas State (Tie) 4. Missouri (Tie) 4. Texas A&M (Tie) 7. Colorado (Tie) 7. Oklahoma State (Tie) 9. Texas Tech 10. Iowa State (Tie) 10. Kansas (Tie) 12. Baylor Kansas State at a tie for 4, and T-Tech at 9 surprise me.

A&M and Tech both have tough schedules this year with road games. K-State's is pretty easy... Texas' is extremely easy. This could be about right. I think Baylor will finish inside the top 10 of the conference.

You will see how I pick the Big 12 in due time. I'll guarantee you that Texas is not 12th. I'll also guarantee you that Texas is not in my Top 5 National Picks either.

Baylor will not be dead last next year. They're the most improved team in the conf. The new spread offense should flourish with QB Blake Syzmanski showing some nice potential last yr ... also Joe Pawlek is a beast and he should become a leader on def, he led the Bears with 85 tackles as a freshman.

Interesting. Not much difference in the first 5 from everything else that I have seen. As usual, unless Texas chokes away another season like they did last year, it will come down to the OU-Texas game, with Nebraska crusing in in the North. The rest will be a scramble for minor bowl games. The Big 12 was down last year big time. I think they start their comeback this year, but it is going to take some time for the Big 12 to return to it's past prominence in college football.
