Kansas City Chiefs Priest Retires

LINK

One of the most classy players in the league retires 5 days ago after trying to come back from a neck injury and no one cares? Pretty sad when a Stinko fan has to post Cheif news. This board is severly lacking in the AFC especially now that the Colts look beatable and the Colts fans are in hiding or something.

He was a great player. I remember watching him back in the raven years.

Indianapolis Colts He will be missed.

I am glad to see him retire from a health stand point. He deserves to retire as pain free as possible. I hope to see him in the booth.

Priest Holmes = one of the most effective 3 down backs when healthy. It's good he could retire now instead of when he got severely injured.

That being said it's still time that the league do something for these kinds of players that end up getting hurt and have their lives shaken up... He should have been able to leave the game years ago due to his injury... The Cheifs org has been really classy with allowing him to stick around as long as he had...
