Denver Broncos Broncos agree to terms with Simeon Rice

This is a nice pick up IMHO for the Broncos who lost Ekuban for the season in pre-season so a very nice replacement . He will bring some veteran leadership along with Adams to help some of the rookies up front. In a couple of years the Broncos D-line is going to be sweet.

Good pick up to fill a whole due to that injury. This may plug up the whole on this defense. With Ekuban out this veteran should provide some good leadership.

They needed a DE with Ekuban and Tim Crowder going down.

How long is Crowder supposed to be out?

I don't have Crowder on any of the injury lists. I've checked on NFL.com, ESPN.com, and FOXSports.com don't see him on any of the injury reports.

Broncos Depth Chart

He's not hurt he's backing up Engleberger (who I'm guessing is going to be replaced by Rice).

Well, I saw a game where he went off the field injured, so I don't know what happened with him.

Probably just a minor injury that healed up quick, ie. stinger, concussion, etc.

Rice's presence helps Moss

Here is another article from the DP and why this is a good move for the rookie Moss as well.
