Don't get me wrong. I didn't say we were perfect. I'm not so big on our recieving core, for obvious reasons. Our special teams are among the best in the league. Great kicker, great punter, good coverage, and good returns. What more do u want? Devin Hester? As far as our secondary, I am confident they will be very good this year. Do u know something I don't? Why is it "comedy" to say the Titans are gonna have a good year?

Hey if u want to concede the division to the Colts go ahead. The Titans are going to try to kick their *sses all over the field and claim the division. Titans always play Colts tough beating them sometimes. It is not far fetched to think the Jags, or Titans could win this division. U may hate on the Jags, and Titans cuz they are a little better right now, but that's just hate with no real basis.

I'll give u that they have a good Special Teams, not a the best return team but overall a good special teams. VY ain't the best passer and add a bad receiving corps plus a mediocre O-Line, and a new offensive system that no one kknows how it'll be, the offense isn't looking too good at least this year. They're secondary is average at the best and is by far the weak spot of their defense. However I am high on Cortland, but unless Hope can return to form, that's all they have unless Griffin stands out.

You just took Browns17's words. Instead of BSing on here why don't you make a real post without two word sentances. Use some intelligence. Your talking up the Titans like they have already won the Super Bowl. They beat an under acheiving Rams team, that isn't living up to what they could be. Get over yourself. I get saying the Titans are going have a good year, but to sit and post they are the best in the AFC is just a bunch of crap. They aren't even the best in the AFC south. You don't see me or any other Browns fan ranting and raving that Cleveland is the best in the AFC just beacuse of last season, and their offseason moves. Haynesworth wants a change in scenery. I see him playing hard this year to get his money and get out of Tennessee. As far as D-Line goes yes a very good group but there is better, and that goes to the Vikings hands down. Win the division and claim your the best, hell get past the first round of the playoffs then go ahead and claim your the best.

Trust me I don't hate on them, I'm just being realistic. You're overvaluing your team and putting way too much emphasis on 1 preseason game. Yes the Titans have as good a shot as any but so does every other team. Everyone thinks their team is a contender in the preseason but we all know it doesn’t turn out like that. If anyone has shown a glimpse of up seeding the Colts, it’s the Jags.

I think the Titans still have a ways to go before their looked at as a serious contender for the AFC South. Could it happen? Sure, but the probability that it does is slim to none. I’m more interested in seeing if VY will turn into a competent QB before I start handing out division crowns. You don’t go from tossing all of 9 TDs to the crème de la crème of the AFC South in one single preseason. The Dinger will still have to weed out the bad eggs in that offense before he can put his stamp on it and it will likely take a year for them to get comfortable in a new system

All I’m saying is to slow your role young padawan, glory doesn’t come overnight.

Also like Jay said it's preseason. Look at the Giants they were 1-3 in preseason last year and they went on to win the Super Bowl. Preseason is just to see new starters, rookies, and depth on the field, how well they handle in-game situations. Biggest reason I watch preseason is for Fantasy sleepers.

Wow, I know Kaotic or whatever his name is, is going way overboard, but give me a break.....

Mediocre O-line? I hope you weren't serious? Roos is a top 5 LT in the NFL right now, David Stewart is a top 10 RT, and we just signed veteran RG Jake Scott from the Colts who is also a top 10 RG in the NFL..... Our only weakness is at LG, but only because it's unproven, Eugene Amano has been solid when backing up last year, but I'm not completely sold on him.... We have a top 10 O-line in the league easily...

As for our secondary, it a a STRONG point... We were ranked in the top 10 last year and that was with a rookie in Michael Griffin at FS and our star SS in Chris Hope injured. Finnegan is an up and coming star at CB and Nick Harper is no speedster, but he tackles well and doesn't give up the big play.... Our weakness is on offense in the passing game, nothing else...

I don't care about winning the game.... Has anyone bragged about us winning the game? I'm talking about the CERTAIN players performing in those games. Particularly, Chris Johnson and Jason Jones.

Do I really have to dig up the 10-20 quotes from Albert saying he wants to stay in Tennessee?

Ok, I'll get a few and post them in this thread...

ESPN - Although negotiations are slow, Haynesworth wants to remain a Titan - NFL

"I'm not really worried about it, I guess I'll have a job next year. Hopefully we can work something out long-term so I can stay here," Haynesworth said Monday.

If I can find anymore later I will post them, it's hard searching FF when the administator took down the "search" part....

Do you understand want he meant by that? That was right after they tagged him where he thought he was going to get his money. Where's that long term contract he's talking about? When he says "Hopefully we can work something out long-term so I can stay here" that means all I want from Tennessee is $$$$$. Obviously he's not that enthusiastic about being back.

Tennesee looked decent against the Rams...Marc Bulger got eaten alive by Kearse...that's a surprise?

The Jags and Colts finish ahead of Tennesee, sorry. The Jags have a great secondary now, and there's no way that VY can pass on them efficiently. The Jags d-line is also made for the run stop...The Colts are just overall good when their players aren't on IR
