Houston Texans Texans' Record In 2008?

You make the call...

(L) Sunday, Sept. 7 at Pittsburgh Steelers
(W) Sunday, Sept. 14 vs. Baltimore Ravens
(L) Sunday, Sept. 21 at Tennessee Titans
(L) Sunday, Sept. 28 at Jacksonville Jaguars
(L) Sunday, Oct. 5 vs. Indianapolis Colts
(W) Sunday, Oct. 12 vs. Miami Dolphins
(W) Sunday, Oct. 19 vs. Detroit Lions
Sunday, Oct. 26 BYE
(W) Sunday, Nov. 2 at Minnesota Vikings
(W) Sunday, Nov. 9 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
(L) Sunday, Nov. 16 at Indianapolis Colts
(L) Sunday, Nov. 23 at Cleveland Browns
(W) Monday, Dec. 1 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
(L) Sunday, Dec. 7 at Green Bay Packers
(W) Sunday, Dec. 14 vs. Tennessee Titans
(W) Sunday, Dec. 21 at Oakland Raiders
(W) Sunday, Dec. 28 vs. Chicago Bears

I'm predicting 9 - 7 this year.

If they can pull off some road games against division opponents this year, they could be good. The Texans played really well at home in 2007 (6-2).

Im predicting a 4-12 year. They have a hard schedule. The Patriots should have that schedule.

Yeah, the Jets suck. 4-12 sounds about right for them. They do have a hard schedule. Not like the 9-7 schedule the Texans are going to have.

(Put the crack pipe down... 8-8 last year for the Texans with a worse schedule and an injured lineup. 4-12 prediction means David Carr married your sister and you're out for revenge.)

Hard to tell. They have a tough schedule, (Just like everyone in the AFC South) I think they return to an 8-8 season.

Way too early to gauge but we could realistically be anywhere from a 6 win team to an 11 win team.

Oh and we will win more than 4 games, this is no longer the slow plodding inept team headed by Casserly & Capers.

Yeah, I agree. There's no way you guys only win four games, whoever said that isn't very smart....

I don't think there is ANY way you make is past 9 wins though...

Texans are a solid team. Shame they are in the AFC South. 7-9
They will be a better team than most of the NFC playoff teams. Unfortunate.

9-7 is how I see the Texans finishing the year. A couple good bounces, they could be 10-6 or 11-5, a couple bad ones and they're 6-10. On the road in Pittsburgh right off the bat will be tough, but they should be able to come out of month one in relatively good shape (2-2) if they beat the Titans and Ravens. They've got the NFC North this year as well, which helps considering it's potentially the weakest division in the NFL given the huge QB questions marks each team has. Score a TD or two and you're probably set.
