The Cowboys lost their first unrestricted free agent this year when cornerback Jacques Reeves signed a five-year, $20 million contract with the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Reeves started 13 games for the Cowboys last season because of injuries to Anthony Henry and Terence Newman.
Reeves finished with 67 tackles, 14 pass deflections and one interception.
The Cowboys didn't tender an offer to the Lancaster product.
Reeves said the Texans told him he'll become a starter and he's excited about the opportunity.
"Those 13 games that I started were like an audition," he said.

I saw this. I feel bad for Jay. VY can get some more target practice twice next year.

Reeves is Faggins and Hutchins suckiness combined. Hell I don't think Faggins got beat as much as Reeves did. I sure hope that they don't think he's a starter. Maybe a nickel back at best but we still need to address CB in the draft. Reeves is definitely not the answer

We need secondary help. I'm not sure he's what I would expect the organization is looking for as a starter though.
