Hated him due to the holdout thing and whining in the offseason. Great player, great entertainer, but hate him for that. Never bothered to change it because he's a great receiver

The thing is I kinda understand why he was complaining all offseason. You just look at how the Bengals are run, he doesn't want to play for a team that doesn't work to improve it's roster as diligently as others around the league. You look at the team and it doesn't have one premier defensive player and they consistently fail in the draft. When you're a star player and you know it, and you know your team is like this and doesn't look like they're gonna change anytime soon, you want to leave. I mean why would you want to waste away a solid career on a subpar team that struggles just to get to the playoffs and has little chance to win a ring for ya? The answer is you don't, and that's why I completely understand why he would have demanded a trade and wanted out.

Officially changed with the Bengals club as well as most fantasy websites, ESPN, and he will be wearing it this Sunday. What a BADASS!!! I'm so getting that jersey now.

Yeah he actually won't pay a dime, last I heard he told them that he is going to change his name back next year so they can just save the jerseys until next year and cash in on the Ocho Cinco jerseys this year.

I think it is pointless but hey it is for fun and I am all for that, and there is talk the Ocho Cinco jersey would be a very hot item.

I would laugh if the Judge just to teach him denied his request to change his name back and he makes him keep it for a period of time.
