This seems to be a good choice if he does go to Cincy. He can help out Rudi Johnson and would be a huge help for the Bengals rushing big time.

I don't know how this would work for us. Rudi and Shaun seem like a wierd imbalance in the backfield. Two running backs that can pound the ball...so where's our homerun hitter. Shaun's a good RB, but he's getting up in age and becoming more injury prone. Even Rudi is starting to drop production lately, but I'm not sure if that's just a slump or not. I would have liked us to draft a Chris Johnson or Matt Forte in the draft, but it didn't happen.

I realize that Alexander's best days are behind him, but there has to be a better fit for him than in Cincy. Tampa, maybe? Chicago? Detroit?
Now that Detroit cut Kevin Jones, do they even have a clear cut starter up there? |

The Lions claim Tatum Bell is their starter, but I wouldn't be surprised if Shaun Alexander went there to start.

Rudi has apprently put on like 15lbs of rip... It could make for a serious pounding backfield... That being said, they'll need it if they loose Chad. And the loss of Henry hurts as well... T.J. is a great WR, but we'll have to see how he fairs against #1 DBs now that Chad's on the outs...

I don`t think they need Alexander. Chad will pout a little but remember he`s getting payed to play not to sit if they take his pay lets see how fast he gets of the bench.

Everybody Should Stop Worrying About Chad, Im Sure His Ego Will Deflate Soon Enough To Prevent Brain Damage. The Bengals Need To Forget About Him, Hes Not A Team Player, And He Only Has One Interest, Himself.

Cincy is a 3rd or 4th place team. They need a lot more help on defense than they do on offense. There is no need for Alexander on this team. What they need is players who want to play, not commit crimes or shoot their mouths off. This should be Lewis's last year as head coach. He really has not done enough.
