Bodden (age 26) plus a third. Think about that for a minute.

Rogers dominates until he tires, then he has to run to the sidelines for oxygen on every second snap. And for all you know, the guy will show up to camp 30 pounds heavier. All DTs have issues but your coaching staff is gunna have to ride the kid hard to maintain any kind of game shape because (as Mesa said) he IS a fa, lazy slob.

Lions just offloaded a major headache, addressed a critical need and scored a third-rounder to boot.

Sure, Cleveland will be extremely tough up the middle...but only on every second down
1. I believe the Browns addressed a critical need and dumped a player where they have some depth at

2. Bodden isn't that good, and has far less value than the Pro Bowl Rogers. Bodden is often injured and has very bad ankles (both of them)

3. Rogers will be rotated in the 3-4 along with Corey Williams, Shaun Smith, and Robaire Smith. They'll keep rested and ready to go all the time.

Thanks for the insight. Never saw "mostly DTs" coming in a million years. A DT on either end is still a DE in every book I've read.

Next, can you tell me how the OLB's will pass-rush predominately in that alignment? I really like that part.

Thanks!

When they play end in a 3-4, and they're listed as DT. I think it's safe to say they are DT's not DE's.

And, I don't understand what your asking. Please explain.

Bodden also wanted a new contract.

I asked how Cleveland plans to use their new pair of tackles in the 3-4 scheme because I honestly didn't know. I don't know everything about the game and I'm not worried about asking questions to get an answer.

I don't think I need or should have to deal with "are you dumb?" as a response.

So thanks for breaking it down. Your answer was fine.

Cleveland fans think they got the best end of the deal and Detroit fans are more than happy with the outcome. Let's see what happens.

Good luck.

Most Cleveland fans are happy. As for me I am not because CIN was giving a third and sixth round for Rogers. We gave Bodden and a third rounder for him. Bodden is good, period. Our defense needed him, I think. For CJ to say he looks forward to playing the Browns every year cause he gets to go up against Bodden should tell Browns fans something about him.

Cleveland Browns Two new D-linemen?

The browns aquired Shawn Rodgers and Coery Williams two DTs. But don't they play a 3-4? you would only use one DT. Whats the deal.

Bodden was a overratted comodity... He got burned by num 2 and 3 wr let alone the 1s... and who we gonna get in the third round?? I wouldnt want to play 40 to 50 % of games with the lions either... Theyre d was always on the field anyways so that number is actually doubled

You make it sound like Bodden is a disgrace to corners. Bodden is not bad at all.
