This time it is A.J. Nicholson, the Bengal LB. This is his second arrest. This shows the absolute lack of respect that the Bengal players have for their team and their coach. Lewis has done a terrible job disciplining this team. Fools like Stephen A. Smith on ESPN want to make this a racial issue (Smith is the biggest racist on ESPN), but it is not. The Bengals are out of control. Lewis can not do anything about it. It is time to fire him, and get a coach in there that will start kicking some of these players asses. Cincinnati is going to have more players on the suspension list than on the active list come September. The thing that kills me is the fact that people actually were proud of the fact that the Jailbirds had gone 4 months without an arrest. How pathetic is this?

Calm down champ, no need to get worked up.
Lewis is one of the best coaches today. There's no way he'll get fired and how is it his fault that these cats are going out and committing whatever!? He can discipline as much as he wants, but if a guy wants to go out and punch his wife in the mouth (which is what Nicholson did) then he's going to do it regardless of what his coach says/does.

Personally I do not think that Lewis is that good of a coach, but that is totally besides the point. He does not have the respect of his team, and they have proven that time and time again. If his team respected him, they would think twice before doing the stupid things that his teams are now famous for. If you can not control them off the field, you will not be able to conrol them on the field, when crunch time comes. Lewis obviously has no control over this team. There was no excuse for last year's effort. Granted Palmer was injured, but you still do not lose to Tampa and Atlanta at home. Then you finish the season with 3 straight losses when you are in the drivers seat for a playoff spot. Where was this brilliant coaching when they needed it?

Both of you have good points. I do think Lewis is a good coach, but big daddy is right, he has no control over this team. Before I completely blame Lewis I want to know hom much the front office is supporting him. You don't get away with this stuff in New England because Bill commands a certain level of respect and Kraft stands behinds him and lets him handle players that don't abide. Lewis may not have that same support, if he doesn't this is on ownership, if he does then it is on Lewis.

You bring up a good point. The Cincinnati front office seems to disappear when things like this happen. They let Lewis handle all the heat. Either way, Lewis is in trouble. He can not be expected to win if half of his team is suspended. He could not win last year with his team basically in tact. I think he is on very thin ice in Cincinnati.

Yeah um the charges against A.J. are ridiculous and pointless. The woman who accused A.J. of the charges has now come out and said that she was an idiot and hit her own head with the cellphone and was pissed off when she called the cops. The idiotic thing is that the cops have not dropped the charges and are gonna still try to prosecute him on the count that his actions caused her to hurt herself. Can you say stupid cops? This one is innocent folks.
