Pittsburgh Steelers Steelers going to win it all again?

You think the Steelers have what it takes to win it all again this year? They got most of their core back from last year, so you think they have what it takes to repeat?

No. Their running game will not be as good as it was last year and their defense will get torched. If Carson Palmer plays all year, they won't even win their division.

They do have Ben Rothleisberger, who is a proven winner. They still got a stingy defense, so they will always be there in the end.

The thing that has held the bengals back is their defense. There is no doubt they have the offensive firepower.

The Steelers won't even make it to the Super Bowl this season, let alone win it.

I don't know if I agree about Ben being a proven winner. Seems more like he is just asked not screw up the game for Cowher and the running game and defense does the rest.

No way they do much this year. So many things aligned for them last year, lots of bad calls (for and against) lots of freak plays.

It won't be close. Early playoff exit.

I'd be surprised if the Steelers make the playoffs this year. The AFC is just too competitive, and the Chiefs, Chargers, Jaguars are all gonna be really good too.

I think the Bengals will win the division, and the Steelers don't have what it takes to repeat IMO.

My pick for Super Bowl Champ- New York Giants

I don't expect the Steelers to repeat as Champs, but they will make the play-offs and give the Bungles a run for their money as far as the division goes

The Bengals have one of the toughest schedules in the league, an injured quarterback, a host of legal issues, and a division with the defending superbowl champs, along with two of the most improved teams from this time last year in it.

They'll be a wildcard, but I doubt they can win the division.

I know all about the Bengals issues, but if CP can get healthy, i think they will come out on top in the division. Pitt might be the defending champs, but they took a step back.

The Browns won't be a threat, and the Ravens did improve, but the only way they are going to make any noise is if McNair plays incredible.

It'll certainly be an interesting division.

I hate to get into a heated "battle" on our first day here BUT, How did the Steelers take a "step back" ?

The Steelers will probably make the playoffs; I don't think they lost enough talent (they didn't lose that many guys, did they?) to miss the playoffs. Nevertheless, the NFL in general is too competitive. Yeah, the Patriots were repeat champions; but I think they are the exception, not the rule.

It's so hard to repeat in this era of free agency. The odds are aginst the Steelers repeating but who would have picked them to do what they did going into the playoffs. Plus they didn't lose too many key pieces. They are the class of the division until someone proves otherwise.
