Cleveland Browns Drafting Offensive linema

Is using a 3rd pick in the draft worth using on a offensive lineman?

Yes but never higher. 1 and 2 are reserved for QB's, RB's and WR's, it's in the NFL drafting handbook all GM's get from the league office.

that's why Orlando Pace went #1 overall......there's no exact science to this if a OL is BPA hell yeah you take him with the overall pick.

Not so, there have been plenty of lineman drafted 1 or 2 overall. You should pick the best available player for your team needs regardless of posistion (with the exception of kicker/punter)

When your line is as bad as Cleveland's, the answer is yes.

Look at Robert Gallery! He sucks! Peterson would be a better bet than Joe Thomas.

Definitely. Lots of good tackles were taken that soon or in the top 10 picks since the mid 90s.

Boselli, Samuels, Jones, Odgen, Gross, McKinnie

Pace - as someone mentioned - went #1 overall
