duce staley may have played his last game.the 31-year-old running back still is on the steeler's roster,but has pretty much become persona non gratta.he was active for the first game,got in for one play and hasn't been activated since.even with verron haynes being placed on injured reserve this week,they still have no use for staley.najeh davenport will back up starter willie parker,and john kuhn,an undrafted rookie out of shippensburg who was signed off of the practice squad this week,is expected to be activated ahead of staley.
