not only thtat, the official waited until the brady bunch got stuffed to acknowledge the illegal time out. if they had made it, does anyone with a brain doubt it would never have happened? can the ravens upset the brady bunch? nevermore, quoth the 13th man. the 13th man has created a myth. the perfect pats by decree of referee.

I absolutely love your whole quote. All fans get upset when their team loses. Its called being a fan. All Patriot fans would be upset if they lost and I bet they have been sweating it out these past 2 games because the Patriots should have lost both to teams with not great records. Maybe they are getting worn down..who knows. I kinda do like the Patriots and I like the Colts but I do want someone to beat the Pats. If this next game was in Pittsburgh I would have more hope for them.

Sorry you're right. It's because the Pats bought the refs that they give 15 yards for throwing the flag in the crowd.

Oh and Boller's interception? Well the Pats switch the balls with remote control balls and they guide that throw in the arms of one of their players

And it's because of the refs that the Ravens couldn't convert a third down in the fourth quater.

PLEASE, GIVE ME A BREAK

I love how all the haters come out of the wood work after a NE WIN. Thats all that matters the WIN, not how you don't agree with a rule, or he was obviously bobbling the ball, or the refs, or this and that. The Ravens choked the game in the end, they had their oppurtunites and a few key miscues cost them the upset

It was a great game to watch and expect the next 4 to be the same in the pursuit of perfection.

Just so the record is straight...

I could not care less if the pats have a perfect season, the only win i give a sh*t about comes in Feb.

Penalties are called for and against your team in everygame, and i see just as many questionable flags thrown against the pats as i do for the opponent, so i dont ever want to hear anyone cry or complain about flags. How many chances did the raven have to win that game? And they failed, pats win, end of story.

Hey, I have liked the Pats for years. My son has a Brady jersey. Yea, they won but I guess you can't help but to cheer for the underdog. All I know is I want to see the AFC knock off the NFC in the SuperBowl. Who ever it may be.

Remember Freddie Mitchell ?

"Hey, I got something for you"...yep, the pats had something for him too..1 catch in the super bowl and sent him on his way to the unemployment line.

Remember Mike Vanderjagt ?

"The Pats are ripe for the Pickens"...yep, the Pats picked his team apart and sent Vandy home crying. Not bad for a jackass kicker who never made a clutch kick in his life. The colts had to go and get our kicker, who already had 3 rings.

Now, we have some shmuck saftey, not even a starter, but a back-up, running his suck and "Guarantee"ing a win..and guess what.

Both of the Pats big passing plays, yah the ones for TD's, he was the one who was left in the dust.

I for one am not a Pats fan, but I must admit they had an OUTSTANDING redular season. The Giants almost got them, but for a few mistakes on their part that cost them the game. I would have liked to see the Giants win, but that is just my opinion. I am just jealous! LOL

Now what I want to see......
Superbowl XLII - New England Patriots vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers! LOL

New York Giants It doesn't matter anymore

Sorry guys, but 3 in 4 is history. The G-men ruined your party and all the talk of a dynasty is just that. Now talk about past history. Good luck next year guys....Miami the true undefeated and untied champion.

Cheaters Feel Cheated: Patriots Fans Want Final 1:40 of Super Bowl XLII Investigated

by Dan Benton

In a humorously ironic twist, fans of the New England Patriots are demanding that the NFL investigate the final 1:40 of Super Bowl XLII because -- get this -- they feel cheated.

And no, this is not a joke.

According to the disgruntled Patriots fan who created the original petition on petitiononline.com, the game clock should not have stopped following Brandon Jacobs' fourth-and-one plunge and thus, the game should have ended on the sack of Eli Manning with 50 seconds remaining.

This fan, and the other 7,815 (and counting) who have apparently signed this ridiculous petition, were obviously too busy crying in their beer to realize that it was an administrative time-out. The referees were determining whether or not to measure the spot -- something that requires a clocks-stoppage under NFL rules. Once the first down was determined without a measurement, the clock was wound and continued to run.

If anything, using the fan's logic, this petition proves that New England shouldn't have had 35 seconds left on their next possession. If anything, they should have had 29 seconds or less.

But hey, what can you expect from fans who say they love their team at 18-0 and then claim they were bored to tears during the greatest Super Bowl of all time?

Heres the link for the petition.
A request for the NFL to investigate the final 1:40 of Super Bowl XLII Petition

Them poor patties still can't believe they lost.

By LAURIE KELLMAN, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Bill Belichick has been illegally taping opponents' defensive signals since he became the New England Patriots' coach in 2000, according to Sen. Arlen Specter, who said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told him that during a meeting Wednesday.
"There was confirmation that there has been taping since 2000, when Coach Belichick took over," Specter said.
Specter said Goodell gave him that information during the 1-hour, 40-minute meeting, which was requested by Specter so the commissioner could explain his reasons for destroying the Spygate tapes and notes.

Wow they've been a scam along, what a disgrace.

Yup... Where there's smoke, there's fire... Really looks fair now taking away their second to last pick for it . Belichick has been taping since 2000, Goodell tells Specter - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

And here is another interesting story... LOL APNewsNow: Lawsuit seeks compensation for Super Bowl loss - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

But here are the implications of all of this. Brady is a sham, they're Superbowl wins are shams. Bill is a cheater and no longer should be reguarded as a legendary coach. Their legacy is one of cheating. Case closed!
