From what I have read Gostkowski has the strongest leg, but Gramatica is the more accurate.
I think they'll see how it plays out in the preseason games. I think they are hesitant with Gostkowski because of the shoes he hasta fill. The moment he misses one the fans will get on the fact that he is not Adam. But I could be wrong. I'd like to see Gostkowski in there. |

I'm thinking Gramatica starts the season and kicks poorly for about three games, so they can bring in Gostkowski with the "This guy is better than Gramatica" fan support instead of the "This guy ain't Vinatieri" hate.
They need to get Branch signed. His holdout is going to ruin this offense, they can't go into the season with Troy Brown as the #1 receiver. All in all, I think the team has a good shot at winning the AFC again. They're obviously aren't as good as the last few years, but neither are Indy, Pittsburgh, etc. Hopefully the secondary stays healthy this year. |

It's not just the Deon Branch situation at WR, there is NO depth at the position at all. Reche Caldwell hasn't proven anything the NFL, Troy Brown is getting older and older, Chad Jackson is a rookie and injured, Bam Childress is a special teams player at best, John Stone - ?, please don't tell me their counting on Eddie Berlin. This is a seriously weak group, imagine if they had any injuries or if the Branch situation doesn't get resolved.
While I like many things about the Pats this year, the overall depth they lack is very concerning to me. |

I'd like to see Deion get signed also, but I don't think our reciever situation is that bad when you consider our TE's. I really think Watson has a break out year. I also believe Colvin is going to join Seymour as the backbone of our D.
Anyway you look at it I can't freakin' wait for 8:00 to come. ![]() |

As far as Harrison is concernd check this out
http://www.courant.com/sports/hc-patriots0808.artaug08,0,1633885.story?coll=hc-headlines-sports I think is leadership above anything else is going ti improve the backfield. Samuel and Wilson with another year under their belt won't hurt either |
