The only thing about WR's that is definite is that Jerry Rice is the best there ever was, and no one else is really close at all at this point.

100% agree with you every point... Irvin changed the game in ways people can't even imagine. Stats aside, I'd place him #2, behind the second man you mention in the post... Though he was the GOAT, his impact on the game was not as huge as Irvin's IMHO... Irvin did for the WR what LT did for linebackers... It's nice to place players that are still playing in these lists based on what they could possibly do, but in the end, if they were to end it all tomorrow, they would fall short of the mark... Until they do it, they haven't done it and that's all there is to it... This was a list made of two completly #1 GOAT and #2 Best Playing Today...
