ESPN Top Recruiting Classes of '08
Top 5 Recruiting Classes from 2008 as shown by ESPN.
1. Miami- Not a major BCS contender in recent years, the Canes have gone deep in recruiting linebackers. Look for them to have a strong D next season.
2. Clemson- Clemson boasts a strong offensive recruiting class led by No.1 rated prospect Daquan Bowers. In addition, they gained No.3 ranked TE Dwayne Allen(darn UGA almost had him).
3. Alabama- Likely to be their best recruiting class this century, the Tide have a strong class. What makes this class all the more impressive is that they got key recruits in the positions they needed.
4. Florida- Most of their recruiting went into their defensive side of the ball, although they did manage to recruit wide reciever T.J. Lawrence, another weapon to add to Tebows arsenal.
5. Georgia- A strong recruiting class is led by defensive linemen Deangelo Tyson and Toby Jackson. Two strong offensive recruits are wide receiver A.J Green and Running back Carlton Thomas.
