I realize its only 8 games into his career. But a rookie on pace for 2,000 yards? I think its safe to say he is the BEST RB IN THE NFL TODAY. Name one thats having a better season. Addai is the only back I can think of, because he is doing both rushing and receiving. So no I'm not going to relax, because I have been a vikings fan through the good times (not too many) and the bad. This is something all Vikings fans should cherish
Oh and as for firing chester. NO. He isn't complaining about lack of carries. He gives AP a breather when he needs one, and its not just a #2 back going in there and taking a carry. Its a #1 back taking the #2 spot. Its becoming more and more evident in todays game that you NEED two solid RB's, and thats what we have.
And we found our QB in Brooks. (Sarcasim) I just have to say it because I live an hour away, and played the high school he went to (Grand Forks Central Knights). I also believe the vikings are only a QB away from a Dallas caliber team.

I understand what you're getting at but to say "the best running back in the NFL today" is different from saying "he's having the best year out of all running backs" because no matter how you try to word it ... Adrian Peterson is not on LT's level (yet).
