Personally, I don't think Vick really deserved that 2004 spot. At least not ahead of
Vinny Freaking Testeverde, who had better numbers than him in 2004
He's a good player, but by no means is he a top 5 passer in the NFC - which is the key for any and all quarterbacks. I'd easily take Donovan McNabb, Eli Manning, Marc Bulger, Jake Delhomme, and Matt Hasselbeck just based on past performances (I know Delhomme and Hasselbeck has done poorly so far this year. But if we're including this year, I'd rather have Rex Grossman (who doesn't look anything LIKE Rex from last season) and Drew Brees. More to the point, look at the top 16 NFC QBs in passer rating
right here. Brett Farve is having a better year than Vick so far, and Farve is a shell of his former self!
So, no, I do not think he's a top 5 QB.
