That's nothing to be terribly proud of; and in a division where the Giants, Redskins, and even the Cowboys possess potent offense, the Eagles defense is a cause of concern regardless of how well Donovan McNabb does.

Furthermore, other than Brian Westbrook, what other options does McNabb have? Of course he needs to play like Michael Vick in Madden 2004; Philadelphia ranked in between Green Bay and New Orleans in total offense last season (19th).

I think the division will be tough for any team to win and it's quite obvious who I want to win it; but I don't see it being the Philadelphia Eagles this season.

(Note: I also apologize if I get the rankings off, I counted from NFL.com's non-numbered stats pages)
The Eagles defense is significantly improved over last year's. FIrst of all, no injuries this year. This means that the All-pro secondary is back and ready to reek some havock in the NFC East. The D-Line is improved with the drafting of Brodrick Bunkley, and they also signed a few less notable guys to fill in the holes. The thing with Jim Johnson's system is, he doesn't need big name guys. Everyone is a product of the system, and this nickel sceme that hes running this year has looked good in both preeason games. The Eagles defense is genarally good every season, and it's ceretainly improved over 2005.

As for Westbrook...did you guys see him in that hall of fame game last week? He honestly looked as good as I've ever seen him. It was like watching him from 3 years ago - lightining quickness and a complete lack of aprehension when it comes to "Busting through" the hole. He's gonna have a great year. And as far as receivers go, watch one guy this year: HANK BASKET. He is going to have a huge year for the Eagles as well. He has quickly become McNabb's favorite target, and as long as he doesn't drop the ball, McNabbs going to keep going to him several times per game.

Here's another thing with regards to the NFC East...Philadelphia will beat Dallas twice. There is no chance that they lose to a Dallas team with T.O. I may change my mind down the line, but right now that's my thought and I'm sticking with it. Oh, and T.O., Brian Dawkins is comin to get you baby! You think the fans cheered when the Eagles ended Michael Irvin's career, just wait until T.O.'s laying on the turf.
